Do you have to use SOAP to interface with the Google WebService API? Maybe, maybe not. The request itself is sent via an Http POST to the URI of theSOAP RPC Router; perhaps it's possible to create simpler wrappers?

These folks are pretty keen. Not only do they offer amazingly cost-effective and feature-rich PHP/MySQL hosting plans, but they also jumped to the aid of Mark Rowe's website when his battle with Microsoft over the domain name caused his bandwidth to exceed his former host's capacity.

In the words of David Letterman, "Is this anything?" In this case, I'm afraid this is definitely not something. This isn't even anything. But next time, who knows... something, anything may be lurking just around the corner.
